I don’t have access to the Ambra system. How do I get access to the Ambra System?

Info neededPlease submit a ticket to the RDCRN DMCC support desk with the following information:

  • User name / RDCRN ID

  • RDCRN/Consortium protocol number

  • For each group/location:

    • Name of group (e.g. which clinical site, radiologists)

    • role (e.g. radiologist, PM, CRC)

    Sign

We will need to get sign-off from the protocol CRC/PI before granting access.

The image upload seems slow, what should I do?

Please check the Ambra status page to see whether there is an issue with Ambra itself.

There are many factors that can affect image upload including the size of the imaging study, internet connection speeds, internal network speeds if the images are on a shared drive, etc. The first step would be to use the Ambra Speed Tester to check the connection speed with Ambra. Additional information on slow uploads can be found on this Ambra Support Page: Troubleshooting slow uploads. Also, you may want to check the Ambra status page to see whether there is an issue with Ambra itself.

I uploaded a study, but when I view it, I get an error message that says “No Images Found”

When uploading DICOM file, only the folder that contains the DICOM file(s) needs to be selected. All subfolders will then be scanned for DICOM files and a table will display with the studies found and some basic metadata such as number of images, Patient Name, and Study Date.
