Why isn't my email address available to send from in REDCap?

When configuring and sending emails, REDCap will provide a dropdown list of email addresses to choose from as the sender. Only email addresses associated with project users are included on the list.

Be sure to reference What email address does REDCap send from? for information on how the “From” selection affects email messages.

 

If you need to add an email address to the list, then it has to be added to one of the project user’s REDCap profiles. Your REDCap user profile can be accessed in the upper right-hand corner of the My Projects page.

Within your profile, there are Additional Options to add a secondary and tertiary email.
