What is the "Data Management" Role in my REDCap project?

Users in the Data Management role will be considered the technical database contacts for the RDCRN REDCap administrator(s). Users assigned to this role have the authority to provide REDCap administrators with approval for administrator-required actions in the database, and they will receive regular communications regarding REDCap upgrades, system maintenance, and incidents.

• All projects must include the Data Management role with no variation on the role name

• There must be at least one active user in the role

• Any user in the Data Management role has the authority to submit requests to the REDCap admin without additional approval

• If any user outside the Data Management role makes a request, the Data Management group will be contacted, and at least one member must approve the request
