🧭 REDCap Change Request – User Guide
📘 Purpose
The REDCap Change Request form provides a standardized way for consortium teams to request modifications to existing REDCap databases managed by the DMCC.
This replaces ad hoc email requests and ensures that all change requests are systematically tracked and prioritized within the RDCRN Help Desk.
👥 Audience
Individuals authorized to request changes to DMCC-managed research databases, including Consortium Project Managers, Investigators, Lead Clinical Research Coordinators, and other delegated study personnel involved in data management.
Requests must be reviewed and approved by the study Principal Investigator (or designee as per the delegation of authority log) before submission.
If a request is submitted by someone who isn’t in a known consortium/protocol leadership position, the request will be discussed with consortium leadership or the protocol team before implementation.
