This page is driven from API imported from Django. Any updates within Django only show after a top of each hour site sync.

There should not be a need to revise the layout/design off this page. To update the information displayed, log into Django. Choose “Consortium Sites” on the left side. To add a new site, click “Add Consortium Site” at top right. To update an existing site, click on the name of the site.

  • A Site can be associated with more than one consortia which is why postal address, urls, etc are on the Consortium Site level and not on the Site level. This set-up gives a lot of flexibility for each consortium to have their own details about a clinical site that may also be tied to other consortia.

  • Consortium: full name of consortium

  • Site: full name of site (Example: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital)

  • Name: Alternative name to display - if this field is not filled in, the site name above will appear on the live site. When this field is filled in, it will override the above site name field. Example: Site name = “Hospital Sick Children Toronto” Name = “Hospital for Sick Children”.

  • “is admin core”

  • Status: Inactive consortia will not show on the Network website

  • Activation date - not currently being used

  • Deactivation date - not currently being used

  • Address requirements:

    • Addresses are shown to website visitors and used in maps show on the sites. It’s important to follow these standards when entering an address and use a correctly formatting address.

    • When creating a new consortium site, first do a search in the ‘Consortium Site’ table to see if the same site has been added for a different consortium. If so, be sure to use the same address values for State/Province/Region and Country and Zipcode. It’s ok if the Address value is different if referring to a different building or mailing location.

    • Address: Street addressCity: City name with proper capitalizatio

    • State/Province/Region:

      • For US: Full state name (no abbreviation)

      • For Canada: Full province name (no abbreviation)

        • Ontario

        • Quebec

        • Nova Scotia

        • New Brunswick

        • Manitoba

        • British Columbia

        • Prince Edward Island

        • Saskatchewan

        • Alberta

        • Newfoundland and Labrador

      • Other countries: Full name of the state, province, region or whatever makes the most sense. See examples below.

  • Country: Full name of Country, examples already in use are shown below.

    • United States

    • Canada

    • Netherlands

    • Germany

    • South Africa

    • South Korea

    • India

    • United Kingdom

    • Italy

    • Australia

    • Belgium

    • Sweden

  • Zipcode: Postal code

  • Some international addresses may need to be reformatted slightly to fit the fields offered. These examples illustrate how to enter addresses for locations in Germany, the UK, and Canada:

  • Logo url: skip this field, not used

  • Add Contacts to this site

  • Add Studies for this site

If a Site is no longer part of a Consortium, edit the record and toggle it to Inactive. You should also REMOVE the Consortium site from each Study where it was associated.
