Welcome Email

When a new user is added to the RDCRN through the Permissions Dashboard, they will automatically receive the Welcome Email.

The Welcome Email contains a helpful video that covers the following:

The email is sent from support@rdcrn.org, which means a reply to the email will create a Helpdesk ticket.

Preview the welcome email:

The Welcome Email contains general information that is applicable to all consortia. If you have consortium or protocol-specific information you want to communicate to your new users, you will need to do that separately.

Technical Information

The Welcome Email is automatically sent when a new user is added through the Permissions Dashboard. The email sends to the address listed in the Email field (not the Authentication Email field).

If the user already has a RDCRN account (e.g. as part of another consortium), the Welcome Email will not be sent after adding the member to your consortium.

If a user's email address is incorrect when entered into the Permissions Dashboard, the Welcome Email will not automatically resend when the email address is updated. If you encounter this scenario and would like the Welcome Email to be resent, reach out to the Helpdesk to have it resent manually.
