Funding Opportunities

This page is driven from API imported from Django. There should not be a need to revise the layout/design off this page. Any updates within Django only show after a top of each hour site sync.

To add a new funding opportunity log into Django. Click on “Funding Opportunities” on the left side and “Add Funding Opportunity” at the top right.

The images included here show updating a funding opportunity – the information needed for both processes is the same. (To update a funding opportunity, find the correct item to update, and click on the name.)

Add information:

  1. Consortium – this may be prepopulated

  2. Name – this is what will display on the site

  3. Type – this information will display on the site

  4. Sponsor – the information will display on the site

  5. Rfa url – this displays on the site as the “Learn More” button at the bottom. If UCDC is the sponsor of the funding, you would add the URL for the detailed funding page – such as Pilot and Feasibility Grants

If the sponsor is an outside organization, you would add the URL for the RFA or to the website with more information on the funding opportunity.

  1. Rolling Application – this field is required – choose “yes” or “no”

  2. Application Due Date – this information will display on the site

  3. Loi Due Date – this information doesn’t display on the site

  4. Goal – Typically taken from the RFA or the sponsoring website. Copy and paste and then scroll through it to check spacing as it will sometimes remove spaces. This information will display on the site.

10.  Amount – this information will display on the site

11.  Term – this information will display on the site

12.  Eligibility – Typically taken from the RFA or the sponsoring website. Copy and paste and then scroll through it to check spacing as it will sometimes remove spaces. This information will display on the site.

13.  Status – “Active” will show this information on the site. “Inactive” will remove this information from the site.

14.  Priority – you can determine how this is displayed on the site visually from left to right. If you have four opportunities, you can enter 1-4 to determine the order. If left blank the default is alphabetical.

15.  Click “Save”.

16.  Any additions, updates or deletions will show on the live site after a top of each hour site sync.
