This is a unique page that has a button you click that takes you to a hidden page: (https://ucdc.rarediseasesnetwork.org/resources/researchers-clinicians/treatment-guidelines ).

We will look at the “Disclaimer” page first.

This page is built completely within Drupal. This is a basic page.

Components used:

This has a main menu link under “Researchers and Clinicians”

Metatags are set with the title auto generated and custom description.

Page URL is a custom URL not following page title. Notice the check box next to “Generate automatic URL alias” is unchecked. This then permits a custom URL to be added. In this case the addition of the word “resources” is added. So instead of an automated URL of “/treatment-guidelines-disclaimer” unchecking this box permits us to use a more user-friendly URL of “/resources/researchers-clinicians/ treatment-guidelines-disclaimer”.

To make updates to the content on this page, log into Drupal. Look for the Admin Menu at the bottom and choose the “Edit” button.

All of the components on this page are housed in the “Container” component. To make edits, click on the “Edit” button.

To edit either of the “Simple Text” components, click on the correct “edit” button. Follow editing rules laid out earlier in this document.

To edit the CTA button, click “Edit”

The color of the button follows the CSS for buttons on the page (ignore the “bg-purple” in image above).

The URL listed is defined by typing in the page title and selecting it as the URL is linked to an internal page.

To edit the final “Simple Text” component on the page, click the “Edit” button to the far right. Follow editing rules laid out earlier in this document.

When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save”. Any updates/changes will show on the live site immediately.
